Post-Game Recap/IG In-Game Content - Mizzou Tennis

Through my internship at Mizzou Athletics, for most games/matches, the interns are tasked with not only coverage before and during game play, but also after. I worked a Mizzou tennis match versus the neighboring Saint Louis University Billikens on Feb. 1, 2025, and this match prompted both jobs to be done. While our head SID intern watched and updated the score of all the matches live, I was given the Instagram story and feed to upkeep, posting live scores and times through pre-made Adobe InDesign graphics, covered the warm-ups and in-game highlights of the players via Instagram Stories, and posting the footage from the photographers and videographers coverage of the matches, articulating them into story and feed posts. Here is a linked example of a quick video curated into a main feed post during the matches: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFix8JwSq1R/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Post game, I handled the recap of the match, the Tigers actually winning the match with a clench of both the doubles and singles side of the face-off. I emphasized the way three first-years had made headlines this game as two of them went undefeated in both their doubles and singles matches and the other winning her doubles. While recaps are a patterned write up for all Missouri sports, the programs take pride in documenting the effort and accomplishments these atheltes implement into their game. Here is a link of the recap I wrote, published on Mizzou Athletics’ website on their Tennis subpage: https://mutigers.com/news/2025/2/1/tennis-freshman-lead-tigers-to-4-0-victory-over-saint-louis.aspx
