My name is Maura Pilafas!

I am a washed up state champion high school athlete, long-distance cat mom, and am a proud 4.98 rated Uber passenger. I would describe myself as a creative and outgoing introvert (Confusing, right?) who enjoys being with my friends, going on walks, exercising, and traveling. I love thrifting at the Goodwill bins and chronically posting my every thought on my personal blog/newsletter @mbpilafas on Instagram!

On a more professional level, I am junior at the University of Missouri currently studying Strategic Communications at the renowned School of Journalism. In addition, I am minoring in Business and working towards a certificate in Digital Marketing at the Trulaske School of Business.

I am currently looking for internships, shadowing opportunities and summer jobs in Digital Marketing, Public Relations or Social Media Marketing and Communications fields as I am one who likes to take a creative perspective on things and wants to share that creativity with the rest of the world. I am specifically searching in the Chicagoland area and Saint Louis, but am very open to talk of relocation for any opportunities. I am a fast learner, problem-solver, and overall hard worker who respects the art of getting from Point A to Point B, no matter how big or small the task may be.
